Achievements of the Present PG and EXCOs
Mobilization of Aguobu Iwollo Youths to clear over growing grasses and tidy up the entire C.P.S environment in readiness for supervision/approval by relevant education authorities during the Covid 19 pandemic (2020)
Bringing the three segments of our youths together for peaceful co-existence for in Unity we Stand
Ensuring that there is steady power supply through prompt payment of bills
Fostering the empowerment of two petty traders in our community
Providing some members of youth in our FIAC security outfit
Securing approval and supervision of the construction of five speed breakers on our road
Creating an online platform/website that promotes and preserves the Tradition, Culture and History of Aguobu Iwollo Autonomous Community
Opening a bank account for Aguobu Iwollo Town Union as non was handed over
Ensuring a clean environment in our community by encouraging the youths to clear over grown grasses and cutting down of tall trees along the road, especially those that obstructs power lines
Goals and Objectives of the Second Term
While the above accomplishments are notable, we appreciate that there is so much more we can and need to do, to ensure that peace and stability reign in our community and that the well being of each member of our community is improved. To this end, I highlight below a high-level summary of some of the projects we aim to carry out during our second term in office. We would welcome any suggestions on how to improve on or execute the projects; below are our Goals and Objectives for 2022
Sourcing of funds to equip, train and pay stipends to our internal security to encourage them
Set up farmers cooperative in Aguobu Iwollo and through this cooperative help our small holder farmers to access training, farm inputs, high-value markets, and financing
Attracting foreign investors in the Agriculture value chain to Aguobu Iwollo
Constitution of different committees on key sectors of the economy to work in various capacities with the town union government
Completing our website and automating various registrations
Ensuring all progressive members of Aguobu Iwollo get involved in moving the community forward through paying stipulated levy’s in accordance with our constitution, voluntary donations to support impact projects, and voluntary community services
Ensuring our women get involved in the developmental activities and affairs of our
community
Getting the appropriate persons/personnel to sign the MOU with the Association of Land Donors for Polytechnic Permanent site Aguobu Iwollo
Intensifying actions towards securing government approval for the reconstruction of the two blocks and one block in our community primary and post-primary schools respectively
